About Us Our first love is to travel. As we grew up, our respective parents took us to a myriad of countries which, we believe, is where our appreciation of the world and all its cultures began to develop. We traveled extensively together, and as a family, to such countries as India, Nepal, Mexico, Guatemala (where our son is from), the USA, Hong Kong (where Nicky spent her childhood), France (where Seb lived until the age of 14), Greece and New Zealand. We hope to visit many more countries in the future and instill the love of discovering new places and people to our children. |

Nicky is responsible for the daily running of the organic B&B as well as looking after the children. She has, in the past, worked as a nanny on receiving the NNEB qualification. She has also completed a Basic Nutrition course and Reiki level 2, and is currently studying for a full qualification in Nutrition. Seb deals with the administration of the organic B&B. In the past, he has worked in all aspects of catering from 5 star hotels to owning and running a pub. He is also a qualified Massage Therapist and has completed Reiki level 1. We had been looking for a country retreat for several years when we came across Hesperus Cottage. We instantly felt it was the right place for us, helped by the fact that the cottage sits in the most beautiful, tranquil valley. Set in an acre and a half of woodland on the banks of the river Tone, we felt it would be the ideal place to bring up our two children and to start the B&B. We are sure that you will agree
with us and, if what you are after is a few days of peace, quiet and relaxation,
you will not be disappointed. |
